So far I have 4 planned, and here's an overview what I intent to put in them:

  • THE NORSE MYTHOLOGY EYCNCYLOPEDIA

  • THE RUNES

Hávamál - The Wisdom Of Odin

Hávamál is a fascinating poem that has been translated time and time again from it's original Old Norse text. I aim to delve deep into each of the 164 stanzas and extract the wisdom that cam be applied to our modern world. I plan to include the following for each stanza

- My english interpretation based on a variety of translation

- The Old Norse text and a Younger Futhark runic translation

- A stunning & unique illustration drawn by my artist Igor

- An in-depth analysis to extract it's core message

Igor has already drawn all of the art for this project aside from stanza 164, which we have something special planned for. He spent a total of 643 hours drawing for this project.

I'm currently working on the book, and it'll be my first physical publication. Before writing the book I'll be creating the content for this website as a guideline, and you can click the link below to see where I'm at with all of that.

HÁVAMÁL CONTENT

The Norse Myths

Where the Hávamál book will act more as a historically inspired Self-improvement book, The Norse Myths will be entirely story focussed. I've gathered a list of every story I could find from within the Poetic and Prose edda, and some of the more popular stories of the heroes like Ragnar Lothbrok & Sigurd.

My artists are currently working on the illustrations for each story, ranging from 4-8 stunning artworks depicting each tale.

All of this will end with Ragnarok, an epic depiction of the final battle with over 25 premium artworks. This will probably be my last book as i'm easily looking at an investment cost of around $10,000 in just the art alone. You can take a look at the content and art we're creating below.

NORSE MYTHOLOGY CONTENT

The Norse Mythology Encyclopedia

I've already created the first version of the eBook for this project. I wanted to create an encyclopedia of all things Norse Mythology, but with a twist. So far there are 7 sections in the eBook and over 250 named figures. Each one comes with the following:

- The modern English name

- The Old Norse name

- A Younger Futhark translation of that Old Norse name

- A Bindrune created from that Younger Futhark translation

- A synopsis with references to the poems said figure is referenced in*

- Additionally, a simplified guide for writing in Younger Futhark Runes

*Some names exist in list format alone, so I haven't included a synopsis as there just isn't anything interesting to say. The eBook isn't finished, but every update is free when you buy it. I'll more than likely give those who buy th eBook a discount on the physical version too, which I'll publish when I've added everything to the eBook.

I plan to add sections for named weapons and items, heroes and various places.

The Runes

Much like Hávamál, I find The Runes very interesting from a self improvement standpoint. The majority of my artistic commission work is centred around Bindrunes and the use of the Elder Futhark Runes to create meaningful tattoo designs and artworks.

I created an eBook where I looked into the meanings of the Elder Futhark runes and gave my own thoughts on them. I'll be expanding on this eBook to include the younger Futhark runes, a writing guide with tips for translations & a bunch of tattoo designs and flash designs.

Just like the encyclopedia, when you buy the eBook, all future updates are completely free of charge for you.
